upper back pain between shoulder blades and spine
possible fracture?
I fell off my horse 2 days ago and landed on my left side with your left arm stretched out above my head, I got and I felt pain in my upper chest right over my chest and in my armpit area, but was still mobile and reassembled. (Strain not just once they take it easy) began within hours stiffness and pain while breathing started. nothing too alarming, but occasionally if I move backwards or when I wake up sleeping areas over my chest, hook my arms and between my shoulder and spine send a sharp pain that makes me automatically stop breathing and move for a moment until the pain disappears. I want to know it could be a broken rib or scapula? or is it simply tightens the muscles? I had someone tell me that doctors will not do much and just relax. problem is that I have children and the need to care for them and for how much my horse long do these pains?
It is possible that you might have a broken bone, but the only way to know for sure is to see a doctor for evaluation of the situation. Depending on what they find there may be something they can do to help the problem.
