sciatica treatment massage

It was my duty I perform osteopathic treatment?
I have a herniated disc and sciatica for 2 months. NHS referred me to an osteopath, but Today, if I said I do not agree to have an operation will discharge me, so I did. I did not want to have an injection or operation. He said that if their treatment did not improve my situation now I need an operation. But today I went to a private physiotherapist and he said he needs an operation not only a good physio who can take care of me. Who should you trust more? To be honest, I was not happy with the treatment I received from the osteopath as never he massaged me, I saw him once every 2 weeks (5 or 6 times in total). Any advice? I have an MRI next week on the road.
I have the same problem as you, but for 2 years, physiotherapist, chiropractor (once, never again), hydrotherapy … nothing worked, only diagnosed ago 3 weeks after MRI (doctors gave me 2 different diagnosis before), therefore suffer or have injection Tuesday …… not a good day but if it helps its worth a try ……. to the doctor to go into ortho, which is the only way ……. do not go by your own, trust me
