Bursitis – what can I do to help?
I thought I had sciatica and had excruciating pain that runs from just below the hip down my leg, but I saw a chiropractor this morning and he said it was bursitis. I asked how he should and he said it could be the movement repetitive! As I am a 62 years old and retired I'm not doing any work like that, apart from the housework and gardening, so he asked if there is any way that this diagnosis can be verified and, apart from putting ice on it, everything that was suggested acupuncture to the hip area. I am in such pain I really need help with this. The pain was very suddenly and without any kind, in my opinion, an obvious cause.
* If you have tried to ER instead. I want to go there as soon as possible. If it's a shooting pain all the way up her leg and then stops and keeps repeating it is sciatica. If done in bursitis, then possibly be admitted to the hospital.
