lower left back pain and constipation

Bottom left quadrant pain and lump?

Looking at a woman's pelvis from the front, I know that both the left ovary and sigmoid colon is in the lower left quadrant. My question is, the left ovary is located in the front, with the sigmoid colon running after him, or is left ovary and sigmoid colon hand side or left ovary is located behind the sigmoid colon? The reason for this is because I can feel a lump in the bottom left just where I think my left ovary is, however, know that the sigmoid colon is in this same area and so I'm trying to determine if the tumor is caused by me by my ovary or colon? I had an ultrasound done a few weeks ago and did not show an ovarian cyst (I am likely to get and often also have endometriosis). I'm not constipated and have bowel movements (although painful), so it can not be the constipation causes a lump in my colon …?

If your bowel movements are painful, which means you are constipated, hard stools and could well be the lump you're feeling. The lower left quadrant is exactly where you would be feeling. Get to the pharmacy and buy through stool softeners against generics. (100 mg. Ducosate sodium. Perfectly harmless.) I guess you could take 3 a day, but you can ask the pharmacist for their opinion. Miralax at best (the), Metamucil, or Citracel help a lot too. Also many water, fruits and vegetables. And high-fiber cereal like Kashi Go Lean, sold at SuperWalMarts, Target, Trader Joe's y. The only time you should be feeling is when the ovary you ovulate (15-17 days before your period) and only 40% of women feel that. Try things high in fiber. Give stool softeners 3-4 days to work. If you still have pain in one week, I think you should see your doctor. Bless and good luck! :)
