lower back pain yoga poses

yoga pain?
hi … I did yoga for the first time on Monday and while doing the "pose reclining big toe?" (Lying on your back with leg left flat, right leg up in the air with a band around the bottom of the toes and pointing your toe and push the accelerator pedal) .. i experienced severe pain or very sharp on the lateral aspect of the lower leg. anyone know what this is? very painful! I like your answer dr … however, even did not feel like muscle pain … more like nerve pain?
That is the peroneus longus muscle. It is an important stabilizer of the ankle and foot. The position you put your foot is one of the ways to stretch the particular muscle. You simply stretched beyond what you usually do, therefore, pain muscle. Next time, gently stretch the muscle, over time, you build strength and will not hurt at all.
