lower back pain shooting down left leg

Why do I have strange pain and cramps in my lower abdomen?
First, I'm 15, I'm a virgin (for those who think I'm pregnant), and had my period last week. Tonight, I have very strange, strong pressure pain and cramps in lower abdomen (left side). It pains sending stinging in my left leg and was very strong a few minutes ago but now appears to be decreasing. When I was stronger, which seemed to come with a vengeance (pain, pressure, cramps, etc.,) and after 30 seconds of intensity, could disappear for a minute or so, then it was back. Normally I feel this way before or during the week my period (though never this intense, a moderate version-no pain in the leg). But my period was last week so do not understand what it is. Any suggestions, advice or experience? Maybe something to help relieve pressure and cramps? Thanks
From personal experience, your symptoms sound like endometriosis, a condition in which the lining of the uterus grows in other places like outside the uterus, ovaries, bladder, etc. These sites can cause irritation and pain, especially during or around the time of your period b / c they bleed too. Number endo symptoms include pelvic pain, back pain, radiating pain down the thighs, and severe menstrual pain. Again, from personal experience, I recommend seeing a doctor, because now Endometriosis is a disease that often misdiagnosed. Many women spend years undiagnosed symptoms while. I had horrible periods and pain and was finally diagnosed with endometriosis at age 19. There are treatments that can help with the pain, but there is no effective cure. I hope I'm not going to leave, I just wanted to inform you because its symptoms are so familiar to mine. Now I'm 25 and still deal with endometriosis. Talk to your mom about how you feel and see a doctor. In addition, educating the same in Endo (Yahoo Health and WebMD have much information and can also search endometriosis) that way you can read for yourself and see if you think your something more to investigate. If so, their research will be useful when you see a doctor. They will be more likely to take you seriously if you show them you know what you're talking! Meanwhile, the ibuprofen is good for pain, as it also helps with inflammation / swelling of adhesions, endometriosis. Pads wonderful warm allies, too! I hope I was some help for you! Good luck and hope you feel better soon!
