Sciatica in pregnancy?
Hello, I asked a question about this last night I had terrible pain on the right side of my back, buttocks and thighs, which was answered as having sciatica. I had an allergic reaction to today and ended in the Resus room in the hospital and although I asked on the recovery of this pain and was confirmed as others also suggested sciatica. It is clear that in areas resusitation that these problems are much more serious and just said it was common in pregnancy and take paracetamol if very painful. Anyone have any information on this sciatica, or have had it also in the pregnancy? How much longer will it go to and you have to put anything right? Also does it only effect one side or both sides can effect back / ass? any information would be appreciated thanx xxxx ps I'm ten weeks and two days pregnant
My wife has the same problem, just a horrible pain right in the same are as you described. Limited only to the right side of his back. The bad news is, there was really much that could be done. The baby was actually pushing against a nerve, and the only way to get better was that the baby out. So she had a very hard time sleeping, that sort of thing, but I had to live with it, Im scared.
