What is the best treatment for sciatica – injections or physical therapy?

I wonder why my doctor sent me to therapy physics, but also said he could get shots too. For those who do not know what is sciatica is the strain of the sciatic nerve that runs from back through the leg, his foot causing severe pain, numbness, and tingling in the foot.

Research shows that overall, most people who have the injections are no better a week or two later. But in people whose symptoms persisted even with physical therapy, often becomes effective once a shot has been administered. This is especially true for those whose symptoms are constant and radiate all the way on foot. Physiotherapy is an excellent choice. While the term "sciatica" is often applied misappropriately, NOT true that you have to know exactly the source of sysmptoms before the question. Rather, research shows that the sciatica (either a true "radiculopathy" or one that refers to "somatic" the pain of the intervertebral discs, or sacroiliac joint or hip) or any musculoskeletal pain can be treated without expensive imaging or get to know the true cause pathological symptoms. Is unknown in 85% of cases anyway. Rather, the evaluation and treatment of hearing the story and watching TU what happens when you move the symptoms is shown to be reliable and valid way to direct treatment … all showing how you can fix it yourself with very little intervention from a doctor. This approach to treatment is prevalant by physical therapist and chiropractors who are certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (www.mckenziemdt.org). I would recommend you find a physician who is certified in the present.
