back pain morning

40 weeks pregnant and I woke up this morning with terrible back pain, but the doctor says not to go?
I have 40 weeks pregnant and woke up this morning with terrible back pain, I called my gynecologist who said he did not come in unless you start having contractions that are 5 minutes away, but I heard that back pain can be a sign labor. Was it right that she tell me not to come in and take medical checks?
In fact, yes most doctors will tell you that. You may be ready to work, however, with back pain. You want to spend as much time as possible at home the subject of pre-employment. Some hospitals will not admit you if you're not really having contractions. Just be ready to go at any time (the suitcases and have someone in a state warning so they can drive). Good luck and congratulations!
