Recovery is faster with laprascopic cholecystectomy. The procedure is generally well tolerated and must resolve their symptoms. The patient should be evaluated for their risk of surgery because it has a history of diabetes and heart disease. Any general surgeon may perform a cholecystomy. If surgery can not be done then drugs can be used cholecystomy pipe or tube may be placed to drain the gallbladder.
