back muscle pain treatment
I suffer from anaphylaxis due to latex, I have muscle spasms in his back. Is there any treatment for this?
I currently go to physical therapy 2 times a week. My pain is severe and the therapy does not seem to be helping. Is there any other form of pain treatment medication for muscle spasms? Pls help!
If your "muscle spasms" are caused by their reaction to latex, then PT, will be ineffective because it does not address the real problem … its sensitivity to a substance. This would have to be managed by an allergist. Remember that muscle spasm is only a symptom, not a diagnosis … can not "cure" muscle spasm. You can help temporarily with muscle relaxants and massage (if a spasm true), but if the real cause is not found, they will continue to return. With honestly, I've never really seen anyone who has had a reaction like you describe. He went for further medical work up to: address the sensitivity latex and B: to ensure that there is no mechanical cause for back pain.
